Ferry Landing is a beautiful historic place with character and charisma.
In just one place you can enjoy the bush covered hillside, the white sandy beach, the gorgeous views towards Shakespeare Cliff, the boats leaving the entrance, the islands and distant coastlines, the unbelievable sunrises and sunsets. Look the other way to the Whitianga marina and the back drop of the hills and trees. All this from your place.

A slice of paradise in the Coromandel Peninsula for an ocean loving family
The Brodies emphatically describe their home's design as that of a boat, and the term is most fitting. Created to mimic the style of a ship, both internally and externally, the house was inspired by the ocean and the nautical nature of the area. Built by Brett Pye Construction Ltd, the house is positioned well on the site, which is itself rather unusually shaped. Wide at the back and narrow at the front, the section worked well for the boat design, with the bow facing out toward the ocean. "The shape and size of the site had a huge bearing on the home," says Brett Pye. Click here to read the article in the homestyle Dec/2007 issue |
